As you can see, we stopped back at the beach on our way to Grandpa's house for a break in the drive. I'm glad we did, despite the fact that BaBa was missing. It did help me relax for the rest of the trip that first day. I wish we would have had time to stop the next day along Lake Michigan. Then we could have played at 3 great lakes during the trip instead of just 2. Although, we did drive along the shoreline of Lake Michigan. And, Lake Huron wasn't nearly as cold as Lake Superior was... we actually went in the water there.
