Eva & Sea Fu

I realize I inundated the blog with pictures, but I am now current up until yesterday. The little black and white kitten you see here is Sea Fu, who replaced the gray and white one who died. She is Eva's kitten, and she is actually pretty tolerant of Eva. She lets her pack her around, watches her, plays with her, follows her around and sleeps with her sometimes. They are cute together.

Cousins--7

So, after spending her time looking over her cousin's shoulders, Eva's on a kick again where she wants her gameboy. Maybe she's starting to be old enough to actually play it, we'll see. Up until now, she's more in love with the idea of playing it than she actually plays it.

I think she is so cute when she looks over other people's shoulders, especially when she puts her hands on her knees.

Show offs

This was when Eva and Rachel got into a little tiff. It lasted less than 3 min. Both wanted to boss the other around and neither wanted to be bossed. It doesn't quite work that way. I think they ended up playing Jail... Eva put Rachel in jail and then fed her beef jerky.

Cousins--6

This fishing trip was more about the act of fishing than it was about the act of catching fish. Wrong time of day & wrong time of year to actually catch anything. But aren't they cute anyway.

Eva was so worried because we took one of the crowns they had laying around the restaurant. She really wanted it, but she was worried that we weren't supposed to take it, no matter how many times I told her that we could (There isn't a Burger King in Thief River). So the entire time she wore it, she had to whisper. Apparantly Eva whispers when she thinks she's doing something wrong. This is a piece of information I am going to file away for further use.

These pictures were taken at the beach in Port Austin, of Lake Huron. Unlike Lake Superior, it was actually warm enough to swim in.

Rachel and Eva were trying to douse water on Kenny that they're carrying in those buckets. It did not actually work... they couldn't outrun Kenny and just ended up sloshing themselves with all of their water while they tried.
