mini-vacation to Duluth

David, Eva and I went on a mini-vaction to Duluth in July. We ate Indian food (love it and not to be found in Thief river), visited the Aquarium, went to the beach (Lake Superior) and had a good time together as a family.

This is "Casey." Not to be mistaken for "Eva in a Power Ranger's Costume." She won't answer to Eva when she's wearing it... no, this is definitely Casey.

Let me introduce you to "Ducky." Ducky is Eva's friend, and companion. Ducky helps her not be lonely and not be afraid. I have spent hours searching for Ducky when he's hiding and have walked outside in my nightgown to collect him from the car. Here Ducky and Eva are both sporthing their "I'm a deer--Look at my antlers" style.
